Matteo Pugliese was born in Milano in1969, then began to live in Sardinia. He made his first artistic works in the island, but he has never taken formal education about it. He turned back to Milano after 12 years, and get bachelor’s degree in Modern Literature. He made statues, cartoon characters and artictis works for fun during college. He rented a place in 2001 upon the advice of his friends, and made his first personal exhibition which organized and financed it on his own. Artist who had his first formal exhibition after 18 months, so to say, has been explored. Pugliese had many exhibitions in various countries in different galleries and still lives in Italy. His works attract attention by collectors and big auction companies.
